CEO- Tricia Loya
Born in Los Angeles and raised in the Inland Empire, Tricia Loya is a self taught Artist and Art Facilitator whose focus is on Mixed Media Art. Tricia has always appreciated Culture, Art, and her Faith. Tricia incorporates this into her artwork, and daily life.
In 2018 Tricia launched Our Write Life, and hosted her first Inspirational Journaling Workshop shortly after. Tricia produces a variety of monthly Art workshops, as well as Creative Journaling supplies to support her community. She recently launched her Creative Art Healing Sessions, which uses Art Journaling to help support others with their mental wellness.
Tricia has hosted numerous workshops in various cities. She has collaborated on projects with other Creatives, Non-Profit Organizations, and local Ministries. Tricia has shared about Our Write Life in speaking engagements, and has been interviewed in local podcasts.
Tricia’s heart and goal has always been to own a studio space that accommodates the youth, young adults, and creatives. As Tricia is establishing her Non Profit Organization, she continues to share her creative knowledge, inspiration, and support with others.
Celeste McDonald
Social Media Intern- Celeste is the oldest of 10 children and the first in her family to graduate from a 4-year university. Celeste graduated with her Bachelors in Communications with a focus in Public Relations and Media Studies. Celeste has always believed Jesus Christ is her savior, and even after losing both of her parents, she has leaned more into her relationship with the Lord to seek healing and guidance.
Celeste joined OWL in 2021 after her mother passed, and the first journal entry she made was about her mother's passing which helped her cope. She then saw how much of an impact OWL can do in everyone's life whether it be strengthening your relationship with the Lord, grieving, stress, and more. Celeste now assists Tricia with the OWL social media and marketing. She cannot wait to see where the Lord takes OWL!
Phyllis Jauregui
Creative Team Member- Hello, my name is Phyllis Jauregui. I am a Pastors wife, and mother of a blended family. I obtained a Reverend license in 2017 while pregnant with our youngest daughter at age 40. I have been on the Worship Team at our church fort 20+ years. And over the years have worked with Young Adults, Teen Youth, and more recently with women in Self-Care.
I recently rediscovered my joy in creating art through journaling at an “O.W.L. Our Write Life” workshop and have found that it has built upon my own personal self-care and spiritual reflection daily. I look forward to collaborating and becoming part of the OWL team, and am very excited yet humbled to have been invited. I hope to get to know you better as we journey together in our artistic giftings. Blessings to You!

I met Tricia a few years ago at a OWL Vision board and Bible Journaling Workshop; And that really kicked off Bible Journaling for me. Coloring, and reading the word at the same time!? It’s a win win for me. This opened up a new and much needed outlet for me to express myself, and explore.
My main objective is to bring other people to OWL, so that they too can experience the freedom of expression through art. So connect, research, schedule, and plan. Do whatever it takes to get out there into the community.
